Awana is a ministry for children that is used in churches all over the world. Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which is based on 2 Timothy 2:15. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. At Awana boys and girls play games, memorize Bible verses, and learn from Bible lessons. The Awana program is open to children from three years old through twelfth grade.
