Welcome to Faith Community Church

Faith Community Church is a non-denominational Bible-believing church. Click here to read about our beliefs and practices. We are located in Palmdale, California, which is about an hour north of Los Angeles. Click here for a map and directions. We have three identical worship services at 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:00 am on Sundays. If you visit our church, we invite you to dress comfortably; some of our people wear shorts, and others wear ties or dresses.

Preaching

The preaching of God’s word is the main part of our worship services. Normally we walk through a book of the Bible or a longer passage of Scripture week after week. Click here to see our current sermon series. Pastor Caleb preaches most weeks, but we have a variety of other gifted men who preach from time to time. We generally use the Christian Standard Bible in our services. Click here to read more about this translation. We usually have a slide show to go with our sermons. The preaching time is about 50 minutes long on average.

Music

Music is another major way that we worship the Lord in our services. Our musical style is a blend of traditional and contemporary music. We sing the old hymns of the faith as well as modern praise choruses. We use music to worship God and prepare our hearts for the ministry of the word. We have a worship team that leads us in this area each week. We also have an adult choir, a youth choir, and a children’s choir that minister to us on regular occasions. Children

We view kids as a blessing from the Lord and want to train them in His ways. Therefore, we offer classes for children during all three of our Sunday morning worship services. We have Sunday school for children from three years of age through sixth grade during the 8:00 and 9:30 services and from three years of age through twelfth grade during the 11:00 service. We also provide nursery care during all three services for children through two years of age. A nursing room is is accessible through the nursery for mothers with infants.
